Evernight's Christmas Blog Hop

Welcome to the Evernight Holiday Blog Hop!
We love the holidays, we love making our readers happy and we love giving away swag. What better way to do that than to hold a blog hop?

Here's how it works... the more blogs you hop to (shown below) the more chance you have of winning prizes. Each site on the hop is offering a prize and Evernight is offering an iPad 2 as the grand prize! To be in with a chance of winning the site prize simply follow the blog you're visiting and leave a comment which includes your email address. Each entry on each blog is then counted towards the grand prize draw. The more entries you have, the better your chance of winning that iPad 2! You also get extra points for liking the Evernight Facebook page
http://www.facebook.com/#!/evernightpublishing. Just make sure you let us know in the comments that you've done so.

Happy hopping!

Welcome to my blog! My giveaway is so easy. Simply tell me what the worst gift you have ever received for Christmas was to be entered to win a copy of Just Vamps! 13 unique authors, including myself, make up this fun, hot, and fangtastic anthology.

I'll start the worst Christmas gift fun....

I received a vinyl dress from a family member, can't mention the name, but I'm pretty sure the gift was bought out of spite. LOL. Anyway, I hated said vinyl dress and returned it to the store it came from. Imagine my surprise when I found out the dress was and had been on clearance for months for $3.00!!!!!! Worst gift ever!

Remember, all entries here and other sites combine for your chance to win the iPad 2 from Evernight!
Good luck!

  5. OMG too funny. I hope mine makes you laugh as well. One year me and hubby decided to just get each other things to stick in a stocking. So out he went..shopping. Comes home empty handed...couldn't find anything! Three times he does this...before admitting he doesn't know what stocking stuffers are. There's nothing in the store that says STOCKING STUFFERS he says. After laughing hysterically till tears run down my legs, I explain that they are just small items that fit in the stocking. I gave him some clues...things that I use all the time. Thinking he would think..nail polish, perfume, makeup. UH no....We start opening our stocking stuffers on Christmas (in front of everyone) and one of the things I open first is LUBRICATION! I looked at him and he said...well we use it all the time! We still get a good laugh at that Christmas. I follow you by GFC, angadair. I also FB 'like' Evernights. Thanks for the hop! angadair(at)nwcable(dot)net

  8. Worst was a god awful sweater my Grandma gave me. It was the early 90s so it had big patterns, bright colors and then cutsie animals. I thatnked her profusely but the only time I wore it was to family functions. (There was no way in H*** I was wearing it to school.

  9. Hahahaha! That is terrible to receive something like especially from a grandmother. On one hand, you don't want to hurt feelings, but like you said....No way in h*ll were you going to wear it to school! That sweater sounds as a appealing as the vinyl dress I got! Thanks for sharing :)

  11. My mother-in-law bought me a hideously awful "prom" purse that had dirty spots on it. I'm not really sure where she got it, but I'm pretty sure it was bought for me as an insult for becoming the #1 lady in her son's life! lol

Worst present ever...a one hour massage. On the surface sounds great.I was excited! But I have Multiple Sclerosis and had never had one before. The day I got it, felt great. I was all for it. The next 3 or 4 days? Not so much. Felt like my entire body was one ginormous bruise and even clothes against my skin hurt. I learned my lesson.

  13. Worst present ever, I think and don't get me wrong I love my parents but they just didn't know my taste in music. or maybe it was they preferred me listening to them but... I was a teen and she bought me some vinyl records(yes i am that old LOL)and I can't think of the names but they were horrendous. I think one was Polka or something close to that effect. Never again.

  14. Fortunately I really haven't got (yet!) really terrible Christmas presents, although some which I myself wouldn't buy. Last year a got a jewel box which is like a chair. It's quite cute, but the space for the jewelry is very limited and the item in itself is quite big. So not a terrible gift, but not really my favourite either.

One, i received one of those round brushes when i was about 8. I was so excited, i went to brush my hair and got it stuck. I had hair down to my butt and its super curly. I spent christmas getting all my hair chopped off. Not cool. Thought today, i sit back and laugh. The second bad gift i got from my aunt. Shes all about being skinny and wearing top dollar clothes. At the time, i was a size large but i liked wearing XL for comfort. She bought me a shirt that was a size small and skin tight. Boy, was her hint loud and clear.
